Lisa Forrester
Owner, Certified Pilates Instructor, Certified Health Coach
Meet Lisa! Upon becoming an empty nester a few years ago, Lisa decided to become a nationally board certified health and wellness coach to encourage and support clients to find solutions for their lives. As her own health journey continued and she was coaching through her business, Fit to Serve, Lisa discovered and fell in LOVE with Pilates. Naturally she decided to pursue becoming a comprehensively certified pilates teacher. One thing led to another and in late September of 2022, the doors to Fit Pilates opened in Augusta, GA.
Lisa’s hope is that you will feel encouraged and supported in your own health journey. Her primary goal is to help her clients, turned friends, get healthy (mind-body-spirit) in order to serve wherever called, with energy and confidence.
Lisa believes that we can change the world with our influence. Who’s ready?

Certified Pilates Instructor, Certified in Rossiter Stretching
Caroline is an Augusta, GA native and a graduate of Augusta College with a degree in Journalism. She is married and the mother of three living in Martinez, GA. Her first Pilates experience was as a 24-year-old in a mat class in 1997 after recovering from a caesarean section with her first child. She noticed that Pilates was crucial in regaining her core muscles after surgery. The results were transformative and lasting which led to normal births of her subsequent two children. A deep passion and quest for more knowledge of the Pilates method ensued and she started her Pilates journey.
She has worked in the Pilates industry for more than 13 years obtaining her Pilates Mat Certifications and Level 3 Apparatus Certification through Power Pilates. She is certified through the Pilates Method Alliance, a third party certifying agency, and is also a member of the PMA.
Caroline taught at Pilates on Riverwatch for 11 years. During that time, she attended numerous continuing education workshops including Anatomy Trains and Fascial Fitness with Thomas Myers, Neural Reset Therapy with Lawrence Woods, Primal Movement Chains with Perry Nickelston and other various workshops with some of the most knowledgeable Pilates professionals in the industry including Lolita San Miguel, Mary Bowen, Rael Isacowitz, Brent Anderson, Wendy LeBlanc-Arbuckle, Kyria Sabin, Amy Taylor Alpers, Irene Dowd, Shari Berkowitz, Jolita Trahan, Jennifer Stacey, Tracey Mallett, Madeline Black, Elizabeth Larkam, Michele Larsson and Rebecca Leone.
Caroline also obtained the highest certification in Rossiter and was a licensed Rossiter Coach Affiliate having trained under Richard Rossiter and Chuck Lubeck. Rossiter is a method to stretch the fascia to alleviate pain and give you increased mobility and greater range of movement making it a great compliment to Pilates.
Caroline believes that the Pilates method is a treasure and gift from Joseph Pilates to the millions who have reaped its rewards and benefits. In the words of Joseph Pilates, “Physical fitness is the requisite of happiness. Our interpretation of physical fitness is the attainment and maintenance of a uniformly developed body with sound mind, fully capable of naturally, easily and satisfactorily performing our many and varied daily tasks with spontaneous zest and pleasure.”
Caroline is dedicated to the method and strives to keep the spirit of Joe alive and share her knowledge of Pilates and other modalities with her clients so they can enjoy a better, balanced life.
